European experts were discussing new trends in reproductive medicine in Gdansk
This November 2018 INVICTA Clinics and Laboratories together with Ferring Pharmaceutical Company had a pleasure to organize 1st International Conference “Increasing IVF success rates throughout every stage of the process”. The meeting took place in Gdansk in Puro Hotel in Old Town.
"With this exclusive event, we had opportunity to share our knowledge and experience and meet with specialists in the IVF field from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland and Ukraine to discuss together the subject of improving IVF success rate during IVF treatment" – summarises Agnieszka Nona-Mołdawa, Business Development Director from INVICTA.
There were several lectures which addressed the most important topics in current reproductive medicine. Presentations and discussions were led by a.o. experienced specialists and scientists - Prof. Krzysztof Łukaszuk and Prof. Michał Kunicki. Experts were talking about new trends in IVF stimulation protocols and male factor during IVF treatments.
An important point of the conference was the lecture of Dr Joanna Liss, head of the INVICTA IVF laboratory and Dr Sebastian Pukszta, head of molecular biology in INVICTA Genetics. Topics presented covered issues related to the embryo quality assessment and Multidirectional Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT).
Peter Bredbacka from Ovumia Fertinova clinic with his lecture "Biological and Technical Factors Affecting Outcome of Preimplantation Genetic Testing " was a guest lecturer during the conference. His speech received a great deal of concentrate attention and interest.
On the second day of the conference, participants had the opportunity to visit INVICTA Clinics and INVICTA Laboratories and learn more about everyday work there. There was also an opportunity to ask questions and gain some information about INVICTA standards and procedures.
